i have internet pair bonding 2 line in the modem
i want to use 2 modem 1 for each line
i only have 1 use name and password
someone told me to put 2 modem in bridge mode
have a router which 2 wan port connecting to the 2 modem wan 1 and wan 2
put the user name in wan port number 1
and create a virtual ip address and wan por number 2 and make a port forwarding to wan port number 1
but i don’t know what specific router i need and if it possible
I believe you’re looking for MLPPP or Pair-bonding. Both require support from your local SLAM, MLPPP can be achieved with two DSL connections and two modems connected to a router which also supports MLPPP such as a Mikrotik. Pair-bonding is something you’ll need to go through your ISP to set up.
How do you determine the best MTU for Cable internet
MTU is set by the protocol and medium used.
Ethernet: 1500
PPPoE: 1492
DOCSIS 3.1 now supports an MTU of up to 2000 bytes
If jumbo frames are enabled on all routers between hosts then MTU can be up to 9000 bytes.
If even one connection between hosts has a lower MTU than what is being transmitted, the previous router will either fragment the packet, or drop it and respond with an ICMP packet, indicating the MTU too large and what the new maximum MTU should be set to.
Most internet routers drop the packet as fragmenting it is CPU intensive.

It is best to leave your MTU at it’s connection default (usually 1500)
{ *xx | [2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx | 1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx | 011x. | 911 }
Which MAC Address on my modem do I need to provide to my cable provider to be provisioned?
Answer: HFC or CM MAC
Why is MTU on DSL different, will that cause issues, and how will that affect performance?
